In order to better build a communication platform, stimulate the research motivation of teachers, and help improve their research level, on the afternoon of December 20th, the School of Business held the fourth special academic exchange event of this year. Professor Song Xiaobing, Vice Dean of the School of Economics and Management at Dalian University of Technology, was invited as a sharing guest to give a special report on how to publish high-level academic papers in high-level international journals. The conference was chaired by Professor Hong Yong, Vice Dean of the college, and 14 professional teachers from the college participated in the academic exchange meeting.

Professor Song Xiaobing has published over 30 papers in important management journals such as Journal of Marketing Research (UTD24), Strategic Management Journal (UTD24), Journal of Consumer Psychology (FT50), Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science (FT50), and Management World in recent years. Professor Song Xiaobing takes the publication of academic papers in the Journal of Marketing Research as an example, and provides a detailed introduction to the entire process of publishing academic papers in top international journals from the perspectives of research creativity generation, paper data collection, experimental process and method application, paper writing and submission, review comments revision and response, supplementary experiments and research expansion.

Based on his own research experience, Professor Song Xiaobing summarized the key points for academic paper research from the aspects of combining theory with reality, strengthening international team cooperation, comprehensively utilizing various research methods, fully respecting evaluation opinions, and establishing a spirit of perseverance. Finally, Professor Song Xiaobing had a lively exchange and discussion with the attending teachers of the Business School on issues related to scientific research and graduate training. The college regularly organizes academic exchange activities, hoping to expand the perspectives of teachers, strengthen communication between teachers, improve scientific research level, and better promote talent cultivation and disciplinary development in the college through academic exchange.
